About The Character Comma

The Character Comma is a writing advice blog founded by me, Evie, in February 2014. Since its beginnings on Tumblr.com, the blog has since expanded into a stand-alone website with additional features and content. 🙂

My writing advice will mainly focus on character creation and development, but writing tips of all kinds make their way onto the CC blog.

I run this blog because it’s something I love to do, but some day I dream of being able to blog and write novels full time. As such, The Character Comma is supported by Google AdSense. Ads in the Google network have to meet certain qualifications, so you don’t have to worry about getting pestered with annoying or misleading ads.
